Warm winter for children

“Warm winter for children” was the theme of the “Winter volunteer-Spring volunteer” program just organized by Thuan An city’s Youth Union in Mu Cang Chai district in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai. The program contributed to upholding the voluntary role of the city’s youths in ensuring social welfare, taking care of ethnic minority children in the poor and remote regions of the country.

This year, the city’s youth volunteer squad with 60 members, comprising of Youth Union cadres, members and donors, visited and offered 650 gifts to 3 school points in Nam Khat commune’s Sang village, Che Cu Nha semi-boarding primary and secondary school for ethnic minority pupils in Mu Cang Chai district. Accordingly, each gift included a blanket, food, foodstuff, learning tools…

Mr.Khanh said that this program was a chance for the city’s Youth Union members to more obviously know about the difficult circumstance of  ethnic minority people in the remote region of the country and share difficulties with them…
