On March 27, the wholly Japanese-owned Vina Washin Aluminum-VWA Co.Ltd. held a ceremony to inaugurate its factory with the capacity of 320 tons of aluminum products a month.
Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Satoshi Nakajima, Japan’s consul general in HCM City.
Shimizu Yasuyki, General Director of the company said: “Vietnam now has an abundant resource of aluminum materials. This is an advantage for the company’s long-term operation. Currently, the company holds a modern production equipment with the 10-ton capacity kiln. Its products are exported into Japan and Asean countries…”.
