Update: 16-12-2017 | 12:47:46

Over the past time, provincial Support Center for Young Workers organized a variety of significant programs, aiming to create useful playgrounds for young people, especially young workers in the province.

Usefulness

Over the past time, provincial Support Center for Young Workers held weekend playgrounds for young workers with attractive and practical contents.

Do Van Phung, Director of provincial Support Center for Young Workers said: “Weekend playgrounds organized by the center over the past time brought practical benefits to young workers. Through these playgrounds, young workers had a chance to play at the weekends, helping them reduce tiredness after a hard-working week. With newness in organization as well as their benefits, these playgrounds received enthusiastic support from young workers”.

In 2017, the center held more than 20 weekend playgrounds for young workers with such interesting activities as folk games, cultural-art exchanges, karaoke singing contests, law dissemination programs, talk shows, “return-to-the root” trips…

The 2017 provincial Sports Festival for Young Workers was co-held by provincial Support Center for Young Workers and Youth Union at the My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park-based Ecolake Urban Area and the My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park-based Hoang Long mini-football ground. With the participation of more than 15 units, companies and “connecting young workers” clubs, the sports festival took place very animatedly with events: men and women’s football, swimming, folk games…

Nguyen Thi Hong Linh, a worker in My Phuoc ward said: “…I felt very happy and wanted that there will be such more activities for us to take part in”.

Model needs to be replicated

In fact, implementing Youth Union task and children & teenagers’ movements, especially the Project on uniting and gathering young workers, provincial Support Center for Young Workers and Youth Union branches made efforts in taking care of young workers and created useful playgrounds for young workers over the past time. However, for areas crowded with young workers, creating useful playgrounds for them, especially at the weekends is seen as a thorny problem.

The province now encounters a shortage of playgrounds for young workers. In the face of the situaton, Mr.Phung said “In the coming, we will try to coordinate with units to organize more than weekend playgrounds for young workers at province-based industrial parks with more attractive contents, contributing to enriching their spirit life”.
