"Welcome the Year of the Tiger 2022" program motivated

On the evening of January 22, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee held a kick-off ceremony of the "Welcome the Year of the Tiger 2022” in Thuan An town.

At the kick-off ceremony, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded the symbolic boards of Tet gifts to the Youth Union branches of 9 districts, towns and cities. They included 2,451 gifts worth VND500,000 each to Youth Union cadres, heads of youth clubs and groups. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee handed over 100 bulletins to youth workers at sub-unions in the province; offered 2,530 gifts to young workers returning to their hometown for Tet.

In addition, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded more than 270 air, train and bus tickets to outstanding young workers under the "Bringing Tet home" program and the "Tet together in one house" program; offered 20 gifts to students and children with extremely difficult circumstances in Thuan An city.

On this occasion, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee supported 6 young people with difficult circumstances, honored 34 priopritors who have contributed in supporting and taking care of the lives of young workers, affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also launched volunteer youth squads on urban civilization, Covid-19 prevention and control, public healthcare, traffic order and safety...

Prior to that, the program took place with a series of activities such as organizing “zero dong” makret-days, exchanges between clubs and groups, contests on making “banh chung”, “banh tet”; donating "dream” rooms" to young workers with difficult circumstances…
