Youth squads of Covid-19 prevention and control established

On June 25, the Commanding Committee of Binh Duong province's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2021 kicked off the recruitment of volunteers to participate in the 2021 ‘green summer’ student volunteer campaign from June to the end of August 2021 and chose July as the peak month of the campaign.

The campaign took place in districts, towns and cities in the province. The selection of the provincial squads of 40 student volunteers, divided into 3 squads including the squad for epidemic prevention and control and quick response, the squad for online English teaching, and the squad for communications of campaign activities.

Along with that, the Steering Committee of the provincial Volunteer Summer Campaign has established a Youth Volunteer Team to quickly respond to the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province. The lineup includes 87 members, divided into 4 squads including media squad, logistics squad, advisory squad, and the squads of districts, towns and cities. The squads carry out the task of supporting the communication and propaganda on disease prevention, logistics in localities, duties at checkpoints and travel information, blockade areas, and quarantine areas.
