Province-based Japanese enterprises enjoy favorable conditions for development

Hideyuki Okada, Chairman of the HCM city-based Japan Business Association made the statement when visiting and working with leaders of Binh Duong province on the afternoon of May 22. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Mr.Hideyuki Okada and his delegation.

At the reception, Mr.Hideyuki Okada said that the number of Japanese enterprises in Vietnam has amounted to 1,800. They are divided into 13 groups nationwide. Among them, the Japanese group in Binh Duong is the most members with 140. Over the past time, province-based Japanese enterprises enjoyed favorable conditions for the best development. Mr.Takashi Yasue, Head of province-based Japanese business group said that members of the group have had good feedbacks on the efforts by the local government in supporting them to work. Thanks to having the investment climate always improved, Binh Duong is seen as the top selection of Japanese enterprises when seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam.

For his part, Mr.Hung thanked the delegation’s sincere sharing while informing the delegation of the local highlights in socio-economic development over the past time, in which there were contributions by Japanese enterprises. They not only did business, but also actively got involved in the local social charity activities…

In the coming time, he wants Japanese enterprises to further foster and accompany the development of the province.
