Province’s export turnover strongly rises in January

The province’s export turnover In January 2017, was estimated at more than US$2.3million, up 0.9% and 14.7% compared to the previous month and last year’s corresponding period.

Of these, the domestic investment sector reached US$455.1million, up 3% and 7.8% against the previous month and last year’s same period while the foreign investment sector gained more than US$1.84million, up 0.4% and 16.6% compared to the previous month and last year’s same period.

The export turnover of some main export products like woodwork, garment-textile…achieved US$338.2million, US$227.5million, up 1.4% and 1.2% compared to the previous month and 7.2% and 1.2% compared to last year’s same period. Whilst, footwear reached US$216.8million, down 1.7% compared to the previous month and up 7.2% against last year’s same period; rubber latex with 19,021 tons, up 1.4% and 5.4% compared to the previous and last year’s same period…

Also in January, the province’s import value was more than US$1.64million, up 1.1% and 13.4% against the previous month and last year’s corresponding period.
