Provincial Customs shortens clearance time

In 2020, Binh Duong provincial Department of Customs has completed the tasks set out in the year as planned to maintain the status as one of the leading units in the industry and in the province regarding administrative reform and modernization of customs procedures, contributing positively to the socio-economic development plan of the province. Notably, the clearance time is shortened. Accordingly, the result of measuring the customs clearance time for exports is 1 hour 17 minutes and imports 14 hours 40 minutes. Currently, the unit keeps to well implementation of the work of measuring the time to release goods in 2020; thereby, situations are promptly analyzed and evaluated to propose suitable solutions for reduction of the clearance time for goods.

In 2021, Binh Duong provincial Department of Customs continues to deploy and improve the efficiency of the mobile container screening system at 2 centralized goods inspection locations in the area, helping to improve the efficiency of customs management as well as practicing shorter clearance time and creating favorable conditions for businesses in the area.
