Tan Uyen’s economy continues reaching stable growth

In 2019, Tan Uyen town’s economy gained many major results. The town has made efforts in ensuring sustainable and stable growth; continued perfecting its socio-economic infrastructure system for urban and service development.

Targets surpassing the set plan

Tan Uyen town reached and exceeded 19 out of 21 targets of the Resolution of the local People’s Council in 2019. Noticeably, the town’s value of industrial manufacture and construction in 2019 was estimated at more than VND24.4trillion, up 12.16% compared to the set target. The town’s trade-service value was estimated at VND10.6trillion, up 20.7% against the set target while agro-forestry and fishery production value was VND602billion, up 1.01% over the set target. Whilst, the average income per capita of the local people was VND110million, up 16.8% compared to that of 2018…

Doan Hong Tuoi, Chairman of the town’s People’s Committee said that in order to gain the above result, the town’s People’s Committee made efforts in instructing sectors, the People’s Committees of communes, wards to be proactive to set up their plans on the realization of the set targets on socio-economic development, national defence-security right from early year. The town’s People’s Committee also conducted sectors, localities, especially leaders to increase their responsibility in coordination and management in all fields…

Development in right direction

According to Mr.Tuoi, the main objectives of the town in 2020 are to well fulfill targets of the 11^th local Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure; ensure sustainable and stable growth; guarantee social welfare, improve the spiritual and material lives of locals; continue well realizing administrative reform; strengthen national defence-security, stabilize political security, social safety and order…

Particularly, the town will strive to obtain the average growth of sectors at 14%-15% compared to 2019, in which industrial production-construction value will increase by 12%; trade-services by 22.2%; agro-forestry and fishery production by 1%. The average income per capita of the local people will be VND150million per year, up 13.5% compared to that of 2019. The rate of poor households herein will also reduce to 35%-40%...

To successfully realize tasks for 2020, the Resolution of the 11^th local Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure, the town will instruct sectors, communes, wards to well realize emulation movements in celebration of the 12^th local Party congress for the 2020-2025 tenure; mobilize all resources to victoriously carry out tasks on socio-economic development, national defence-security in 2020; attach special importance to investment attraction, arrange investment projects in line with development orientations of the locality as well as regulations of the province.

The town will also tighten control over mineral exploitation; ask for sectors, authorities at all levels to continue effectively realizing State management in urban order construction, seriously handle cases encroaching on pavement and roads…
