To strengthening support activities for SMEs

Due to the implementation of the Government's Decree No. 39/2018/ND-CP dated 11 Mar 2018 detailing a number of articles of Law on Support to Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated 15 June 2018 of the Prime Minister to effectively implement Law on Support to SMEs, Ministry of Science and Technology implemented a number of tasks to support SMEs.

Accordingly, Ministry of Science and Technology will complete policy-related issues, such as instruction on the policy supporting SMEs in research, renovating, receiving, improve, complete, master technology through research, training, consultancy, search, decoding and technology transfer; policy supporting SMEs in establishing, exploiting, managing, protecting and developing intellectual properties. Additionally, the ministry will collaborate with related ministries and sectors to develop and promulgate policies to support SMEs to start innovative businesses.

Ministry of Science and Technology also gives information support to SMEs; formulate and implement the Scheme on supporting SMEs to start innovative businesses, SMEs to participate in industries’ unions, value chains...
