Vietnam Industry and Manufacturing Fair 2019 (VIMF 2019) is taking place at Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center and lasts until 14 Jun. In 2019, VIMF returned to Binh Duong with a larger appearance and scale, display area of ​​over 7,000m2 in 3 days. Customers visiting are representatives of industrial parks, factories, manufacturing enterprises, contractors, projects, integrated systems, solutions groups in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong... With many-year experience in organization, the exhibition was expected to have high quality, good effects, and meet the needs of customers, businesses, and people.

At the exhibition, participants with more than 200 booths and many products in key industries such as manufacturing, processing, packaging, plastic, food, construction, electricity, and energy ... from different countries and territories, like Singapore, Japan, Korea, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, America, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Taiwan (China)... The organizers have dedicated a separate area for booths of large factories and manufacturers in Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces. Nguyen Chi Doanh, technical officer of a Taiwanese enterprise in My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Town, said: “Visiting, learning things at VIMF in three consecutive years, I witnessed, experienced, and learned many new production technologies as well as good science and technology applications into real life. I think, exhibitions like this need to be hosted more often in localities with developed industries like Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai... ”

Meanwhile, Luu Tri, CEO of Nghe Nang Company (Thuan An town), said Nghe Nang was one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of industrial fans in Vietnam. Therefore, the company came to VIMF 2019 to introduce industrial fan products, multi-function professional coolers, and multi models to customers. Moreover, the company's experts will share and advise the best smart ventilation, cooling and air conditioning solutions for each individual space. At the same time, the products and solutions of Nghe An help customers save time, costs, and improve productivity for their businesses.

According to Mr. Tri, the exhibition is a very good bridge to help Vietnamese technology enterprises access to the most advanced and modern technologies today.

An impulse to accelerate industry

After many successful organizations in provinces and cities, VIMF builds and becomes a prestigious brand with good-quality exhibitions, effective bridges, and ideal destinations for domestic and foreign manufacturers and suppliers to introduce and promote new products and technologies. This exhibition is also an opportunity for businesses to meet, directly contact customers, seek agents and distributors, develop and expand markets, and set up their future business orientations...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mai Hung Dung, Provincial Party Standing Committee member, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, said that in recent years, the province's GDP growth rate had been high and stable; economic structure shifted to the right direction. Accordingly, the industry still accounts for the majority of the provincial economic structure. Particularly, the annual industrial production index of the province increases by nearly 10% on average.

In the field of industrial production, over 22 years, Binh Duong has followed the motto of inviting and facilitating investments and been constantly reforming administrative procedures in order to create maximum convenience for businesses. By the end of March 2019, 27 industrial parks (out of a total of 29 industrial parks) and 9 industrial clusters (out of 12 industrial clusters) were put into operation; the whole province has attracted 3,585 FDI enterprises with investment capital of over $33.08 billion, and becomes one of the three provinces and cities attracting the most foreign investment value in the country.

From these successes, in order to continue to create breakthroughs and innovations in investment attraction, the province promulgated programs and plans to innovate and attract investments in the period of 2016-2020 in industrial development in the direction of prioritizing production projects with high technologies and added values, encouraging investments in auxiliary industries in the field of manufacturing and assembling machinery, equipment and electronics. Along with that, the province focuses on developing high-tech services and agriculture; implementing the project of building a smart city with Triple Helix model.

Mr. Dung hoped that at VIMF 2019, and enterprises could share advances in technology development and automation; thereby, set out technological solutions and production innovations to improve the quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese products on the world market.
