VND4.9billion in loan disbursed for 135 households

Thuan An town’s Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSC) transaction office has just disbursed VND4.9billion in loan for 135 poor households. In 2019, more than VND175billion in loan from the transaction office was disbursed for 3,818 households. Thus, the total outstanding loans of the unit have amounted to VND355billion.

Dong Quoc Khai, Director of the town’s VBSC transaction office said that over the past time, the unit made efforts in encouraging locals to get access to loans for economic development. As a result, they logically used these loans, contributing to well realizing the local poverty reduction.
