107 outstanding collectives, individuals in Youth Union activities honored

Phu Giao district has just held conference to review its activities in 2014.

Reportedly, the district’s Youth Union in 2014 concentrated on political thought education and law dissemination among Youth Union members and pupils. Around 1,670 shows on political thought education and law dissemination were organized with the participation of 19,800 Youth Union members and pupils.

The district’s Youth Union also sorted out Youth Union cadres and members for the program of “For national borders and islands” organized by provincial Youth Union. As many as 104 outstanding Youth Union members were admitted into the Communist Party of Vietnam. In addition, the district’s Youth Union mobilized members to help each other in economic development; maintained loan-rotating groups with more than VND100mln; disbursed VND250mln in loan from the Plan 120 for members to develop home based business…

On this occasion, 45 collectives and 62 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial Youth Union, the district’s Youth Union, the district’s Youth Federation for their achievements in the local Youth Union tasks and children, teenagers’ movements in 2014.
