200 Tet gifts to poor people in Binh Phuoc

Provincial Red Cross Society has just teamed up with TDM city’s Buddhist Sangha and its Volunteers’ Club to organize a delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to poor households in Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Gia Map district.

Accordingly, the delegation donated 200 gifts worth VND400,000 each, including essential goods and cash, to poor people in Bu Gia Map district’s Binh Thang and Phuoc Minh communes. All the above gifts were worth VND80mln, funded by nun Thich Nu An Lien, Head of Phat Hoc pagoda and nun Thich Nu Van Tinh, Head of Thien Ton pagoda in TDM city together with Buddhist monks, nuns and followers.

Provincial Red Cross Society will further give Tet gifts for members of provincial Association of the Blind, disable children, orphans, lonely elderly people and patients at Ben San lepers’ hospital and the poor across the province.
