Early August 31, Thuan An town’s Party Committee forwarded a conference to review the 10-year implementation of the Resolution No.11 of the 10^th Politburo on “Women task in the period of intensified national modernization and industrialization”.

After 10 years of realizing the Politburo’s Resolution No.11 and provincial Party Committee’s Action Program, Party organizations and authorities at all levels of the town boosted propaganda on women task and gender equality. There were more than 170 such propaganda shows organized with the participation of more than 8,000 women. The town’s Women’s Union also opened 10 training courses on raising awareness and skills of propaganda on women task…

In addition, Party organizations and authorities at all levels of the town instructed the local Women’s Union to support women in economic development by many difference preferential loans with nearly VND70billion; opened 487 training courses on application of sci-tech advancements into production for more than 12,000 learners; set up 7 cooperative groups, generating stable jobs for nearly 100 female laborers. Over the past 10 years, there were 46 women accredited to managerial positions. The rate of female delegates of the town’s People’s Council rose by nearly 28%, 40% and 45% for the 2004-2011, 2011-2016 and 2016-2021 tenures, respectively…

On this occasion, the town’s Party Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 20 individuals with excellent achievements in the realization of the Politburo’s Resolution No.11.
