Di An marks 72nd anniversary of August Revolution, National Day

Early August 31, Di An town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together to celebrate the 72^nd anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945-September 2, 2017). Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Vo Van Minh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee and Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Upholding the achievements of the August Revolution, Di An’s army and people along with the whole country expelled foreign invaders to gain national freedom and independence. Di An today has constantly developed and become a locality with flexible economy in the southern region of the province. The town’s industrial production value has reached the annual growth of 71%. Whilst, the town’s trade-services value surged more than 30%. The town’s annual State budget collection has gained VND2.2trillion. Since early this year, the town’s total State budget collection has been more than VND1.64trillion or 53.42% of the year’s plan. The town has started construction of 3 works and inaugurated the local stadium with a total expense of VND96billion.

On this occasion, the town’s Party Committee awarded the 70, 55, 50 and 40-year Party membership insignias to 102 Party members and posthumously bestowed a 40-year Party membership insignia to a Party member.
