33 collectives received emulation flags, nearly 600 collectives and individuals received merit certificates and badges of Provincial People’s Committee

Early October 14, Provincial People’s Committee and its Emulation & Award Council solemnly held the 4^th Patriotism Emulation Congress for 2011-2015 period.

Attending the congress was Tran Thi Ha, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs cum permanent Deputy Chair of Emulation & Award Council cum Head of CPV Emulation & Award Council, Mai The Trung, the member of Central Committee of CPV cum Provincial Party Committee Secretary cum Head of Provincial NA Delegation, Pham Van Canh, the permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Tran Van Nam, Deputy Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of Provincial People’s Council, Huynh Van Nhi, the member of Standing Board of Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, member leadership of Provincial People’s Committee, all-time leaders of Provincial People’s Committee and People’s Council, leaders representing neighbor boards of emulation and awards, Vietnamese heroic mothers, armed force heroes, labor heroes and nearly 600 elite delegates in the patriotism emulation in the province from 2011 to 2015.

Addressing the congress opening, Tran Van Nam stressed that the 4^th Patriotism Emulation Congress of Binh Duong Province will appreciate and mark the grown-up of patriotism emulation movements in Binh Duong Province while appraising collectives and individuals as excellent models in the movements with continual promotion of traditions and inspiration of emulation movements in the strata of people of the province.

In 5 years, the topical emulation of high agreement and excellent emulation for soonest achievements has wide-spread into all fields of social lives to promote general power of the political system and gather dynamic promotion of fulfilling and exceeding socio-economic development targets proposed by the resolution of the 9^th Provincial Party Congress. The emulation movements have promote economic development of the province while cultural and social aspects eyed great progress; national defense and security have been maintained; social order has been assured; public lives have been improved dramatically.

From 2011 to 2015, Binh Duong Province honorably eyed 2 collectives and 1 individuals awarded with title of Labor Hero in reforming stage; 2 individuals awarded with title of national emulation soldier by Prime Minister; the State’s President has also awards 329 medals to 97 collectives and 232 individuals; Prime Minister has awarded excellent emulation flags to 11 leading units in the emulation movements of the province; Provincial People’s Committee awarded excellent emulation flags to 361 units and approved 1,538 titles of excellent collective labor, 1,081 titles of provincial emulation soldiers and 16,522 merit certificates to collectives and individuals.

On the occasion, Provincial People’s Committee initiated the patriotism emulation movements for 2016-2020 under the theme of unity and creativity in emulation movements to construct and protect the nation with determination to build up a modern and civilized urban area out of Binh Duong Province which will be considered as one of the urban areas of highest socio-economic development in the major economic zone of the South and becoming a city under central government before 2020.

On behalf of the Central Emulation & Award Council, Tran Thi Ha delivered a speech congratulating and appraising the achievements gained by emulation movements in Binh Duong Province. She also suggested that information dissemination should be promoted for the time to come to initiate active emulation movements in all fields with more appraisals for working people and models.

At the congress, 33 collectives received their emulation flags while 600 collectives and individuals were awarded with merit certificates and symbols of Provincial People’s Committee for the excellent achievements in patriotism emulation movements. The attending delegation of national patriotism emulation congress also were introduced to the congress.
