In 2013, Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee carried out and put 33 rural traffic works of 33,774 meters into operation.

Of these, there were 28 works on rural traffic of 30,274 meters with a total investment capital of VND19.56bln; 5 works on urban rejuvenation of 3,500 meters with a total investment capital of more than VND9bln. In general, they created favorable conditions for the local people’s traveling and goods transportation, contributing to developing the local infrastructure facilities.

As planned in 2014, the whole district has 23 works on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation of more than 19,246 meters with a total investment capital of VND4bln. To fulfill this plan, the local functional agencies will focus on mobilizing locals and explaining them about the benefits and importance of the movement; better realize democratic regulations, make financial disclosure in the process of carrying out the above works; actively mobilize locals to make contributions to them so that they can be implemented on schedule.
