On March 8, the Steering Committee for High-Voltage Power Grid Safety and Electricity Saving in the province held a year-end review for 2023 and outlined the direction for 2024.

Therefore, the electricity savings output in 2023 across the province is 366 million kWh, achieving 115.04% of the plan. In 2024, the Steering Committee focuses on inspecting the safe and efficient use of electricity in production facilities according to regulations for key energy-consuming establishments; organizing energy management training for enterprises with high energy consumption; continuing to implement certain projects in the provincial plan for the National Program on Energy Efficiency and Conservation for 2021-2025; training for officials of districts, towns, cities, and communes, wards, and townships on the efficient and effective use of energy; promoting widespread dissemination and awareness among the general public, students, officials, civil servants, and employees about electricity saving consciousness and the use of energy-saving devices.
