8,950 youth works implemented

Early June 21, provincial Youth Union held a conference to review its activities in the first half of 2019, the ten-year implementation of the Politburo’s Conclusion No.62-KL/TW and the five-year implementation of provincial Party Committee’s Directive No.42-CT/TU on “Further improving the operational content and form of the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political mass organizations”.

The event was attended by Bui Quang Huy, Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee and Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

In the first half of the year, provincial Youth Union set a set of propaganda instrument on crime prevention from provincial Police Agency’s resource; considered and gave 420 free plane tickets for laborers to return home for Tet with their families; donated VND61million from provincial Support Fund for Poor and Alien Young Workers to 23 youths; handed over 3 houses of compassion, 2 “dream rooms” to needy youths…

It is known that over the past ten years, all volunteer activities in socio-economic development of provincial Youth Unionsand its branches bent on civilized urban and new-style rural construction, administrative reform…Provincial Youth Unions at all levels carried out 39 youth works at provincial level, 220 at district level, 8,691 at grassroots level and 167 programs, projects with a total value of nearly VND 90billion…

At the conference, delegates also exchanged some contents on the orientation and organization of the Youth Union movements in the coming time.
