99,76% households in Dau Tieng district to achieve cultural family

Morning Mar 4, Dau Tieng district Steering Committee of “All people unite to build up cultural life” movement held a preliminary sum-up ceremony of 2015 works, 10 years of Decision No. 308/2005/QD-TTg on implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals.

In 2015, the district Steering Committee launched and organized the registration of cultural titles. As a result, at the end of 2015, 28,042/28,102 households achieved cultural family (99.79%); 76/89 quarters, hamlets achieved cultural title (85.39%); 45/46 lodging houses achieved cultural title (97.83%); 9/11 communes achieved new rural cultural standards (81.82%). In addition, the Steering Committee encouraged the people to implement movements of learning, labor, creativity; building "good people, good deeds", good models; all people exercise to follow the example of Uncle Ho…, meeting and exceeding targets.

Regarding the implementation of civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals, after 10 years, there were remarkable changes among people strata. At present, the procedure of weddings, funerals and festivals are held simply, orderly, economically and modestly.

At the ceremony, the Steering Committee also launched the registration for building new rural cultural commune and civilized urban town in 2016. On this occasion, the Steering Committee gave certificates of merit of district People’s Committee to outstanding collectives and individuals in the implementation of the movement and Decision No. 308.
