Delegates at a preparation session on Sept. 27. 

 Today (Sept. 28), the 9th Congress of the Binh Duong provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term officially kicks off with the participation of 346 delegates representing 25,268 party members under 516 grassroot party cells across province.

Implementing the 10th national party congress’ resolution and the 8th provincial party congress’ resolution, Binh Duong province’s party committee and people positively launched goals of economy, socio-culture, defense and security in the context of disadvantages and advantages. However, the local economic structure still reached a fair growth. Infrastructure facility was focused whilst urbanization process was rapidly combined with industrialization.

The educational scale developed quickly with 369 schools invested across province whilst educational socialization won great response from units and individuals. There were no longer poverty households in 2010 in line with old poverty line and there were about 2% of poverty families according to the local new poverty line.

The work of Party building showed many positive changes with the improvement of Party leadership capacity.

The mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” was extended at all levels, bringing changes on awareness and responsibility in every party member.

The local fatherland front and mass bodies were developed variously and synchronously, satisfying the public’s aspiration, raising connection between the public and authority.

At the preparation session on Sept. 27 afternoon, the congress ratified regulations, programs of the congress and elected members of the Presidium and Secretariat as well as Delegate Assessment Board.
