The 9th Provincial Party Committee Congress term 2010-2015 will take into consideration of important decisions and policies to promote Binh Duong province in new developmental stage to modern, civilized and beautiful urban. Binh Duong Newspaper made an interview with Mr. Vu Minh Sang who is now Deputy Standing Secretary of local Party Committee.

 

- Could you please inform us with the targets of the 9th Congress?

 

- The coming 5-year tenure is meaningful to Binh Duong province when local people and Party Committee will make outstanding efforts to reach for those targets projected in the theme of “enhancing leadership and fighting power of Party Committee to efficiently exploit all forces in building a modern, civilized and beautiful urban of Binh Duong Province.

 

To achieve the targets, programs proposed in this time’s Congress include:

-          Programs to develop high quality services attached to industrial and urban development in direction of higher value added;

-          Programs to efficiently exploit forces of economic sectors to continue developing synchronized and modern structure of provincial socio-economics;

-          Programs for investment to new urban areas and concentrated administrative center of the province attached to upgrade of Thu Dau Mot and satellite districts to improve public live hood;

-          Programs to enhance human force quality, management, science and technology in response to demands of development in the new stage.

As a result, the 9th Provincial Party Committee Congress is specifically meaningful a turning point to a new developmental stage.

 

- What focal contents will be discussed?

 

- In the conference delegations will make in-depth discussion about, analysis, objective and overall evaluation of achievements in Binh Duong for the past 5 years so as to determine great objectives for the new tenure. Meantime, factual analysis will help to identify setbacks and limitation in lesson learning and good measures seeking.

 

The conference upholds discussion about detail objectives and developmental orientation as well as effective measures to successfully achieve the targets. The conference is also responsible for selecting eligible persons as members of Party Committee’s executive board. By direction of Politburo, ideas will be collected in this conference for the upcoming draft of the 11th National Party Congress. Delegations attending National Party Congress will be voted out.

 

- In your opinion, what each delegation should do to promote democracy for rapid and sustainable development in Binh Duong?

 

- For utmost contribution, each delegation should uphold responsibilities before the Party Committee and the people to promote democracy and literacy in discussion about important agenda as well as principles and regulations of the conference.
