Although the carpenter Nguyen Duc Tinh living at Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot City has never studied mechanics before, he was the author of patented multifunctional wood cutter, versatile sawmill and many more. The passion for his job, continuous studying contributed to his success…   Nguyen Duc Tinh (middle) was receiving the Techmart Gold cup in 2012 for his machineAfter graduating from Binh Duong vocational secondary school with a major in carpentry, furniture design in 1991, Mr. Tinh decided to open a small carpenter’s workshop at home to start his business. His couple had to delay the wedding to have enough money for a woodworking combination machine. Due to the lack of machinery, he improved his machines for daily work not for becoming famous. At that time, specialized machines in domestic market was easy to find but had high prices. Therefore, since 2002, he attempted to research and invented a multifunctional but low-priced machine. In 2004, after many times of correction, a new machine invented by him was successfully tested and then put into use. It was a versatile tenon cutting machine can do many carpenter’s tasks like tenon cutting, sawing, milling, punching, smoothing. The machine obtained many achievements at exhibitions and competitions like: Merit of Science and Technology Ministry in 2007, patent of Intellectual property office in 2008, Gold cup of quality product at Techmart Vietnam Asean +3 in 2009…Apart from the aforementioned machine, in 2012 Mr. Tinh created a combination machine of sawing and smoothing, which achieved Techmart gold cup and was registered industrial property rights. His machine was designed based on both internal manufactured and imported machines with “5 in 1” features of sawing and smoothing, additionally has high fidelity, safety and reasonable price. In working process later, he made some improvements bringing practical conveniences to customers. Some imported machines broke down after some times of using, shops gave up but he could make the machines run again…Outstanding strengths of Nguyen Duc Tin are the love of his occupation and passion for researching and studying.
