Enthusiastic, friendly, always wholeheartedly helping the poor is the feeling of many people in Phu An commune when talking about Thuy Huong - an officer of the Solidarity Project to gather youths and young workers of the commune. Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh, over the years, she has always accompanied the disadvantaged lives to actively participate in movements launched by the locality with joined hands in building an increasingly civilized and prosperous Phu An commune.

Born in a family that was not too harsh, she grew up getting married like many others her age. She thought her life was going to be peaceful over the years, but in 2015, she had a family incident. Overcoming the problems, she is independent in economic development. When you can afford it, it is when you think: "I need to give more".

Like many people with a good heart, when life was stable, this woman did not choose leisure. Instead, she chose series of days with hardship. The pain of losing her mother because of COVID-19 made little Nguyen Ngoc Lan Phuong of An Thuan hamlet in Phu An commune extremely disappointed because she lost a prop. Understanding the pain, Thuy Huong did not hesitate to extend an annual allowance for her child until she turns 18 years old. The dark example of orphans like Lan Phuong has now been replaced with brighter colors.

Huong shared: “I do not have the conditions to do charity with great things, but I will do it according to my strength. Having witnessed many lives lacking money when sick made me worry and torment forever. Therefore, if it is within my family's ability, then I find a way to help them. I think, as long as I am healthy, I will continue to do this volunteer work to contribute a small part to the society."
