Action Month for Labor Safety and Hygiene, Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week 2017 launched

Provincial Industrial Parks’(Ips) Trade Union held a ceremony to launch the first Action Month for Labor Safety and Hygiene 2017 in Di An town on the morning of May 14.

Enterprises and Trade Union locals sign a commitment on labor safety and hygiene

Accordingly, provincial Ips’Trade Union will focus on making dissemination of information about the goal and significance of food safety and hygiene, fire-explosive prevention and fighting among employees, raising their awareness of obeying regulations on labor safety and hygiene to stave off labor accidents and occupational diseases. Trade Union locals will also join hands with relevant agencies and employers to organize training courses on labor safety and hygiene; maintain a “green-clean-nice” movement, ensuring food safety and hygiene…

On this occasion, provincial Ips’Trade Union donated a “trade union” house to Vo Van Thanh, a labor accident victim with the rate of disability at more than 91%.

*The same day, Thuan An town’s People’s Committee in collaboration with the town’s Labor Union and Youth Union organized a ceremony to launch the Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week 2017.

The ceremony took place with recreational activities for young workers. The organizers also presented 120 gifts worth VND500,000 each to young workers with difficult circumstances. These practical activities will continue taking place at lodging facilities and enterprises in the province till the end of May 2017.
