Activities of “Paying debt of gratitude” implemented

On the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2016), Phu Giao district has set up 11 delegations to visit and present gifts to the local heroic Vietnamese mothers, revolutionary contributors…with a total expense of more than VND277million.

The People’s Committees and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the district together with many other mass organizations have also mobilized organizations and individuals to raise money for the local Gratitude Fund in order to build and upgrade gratitude houses, present saving books, upgrade works commemorating martyrs, support policy beneficiary families with difficult circumstances…In addition, they cleaned up memorial monuments of martyrs to express deep gratitude to them.
