Phu Giao district’s Steering Board for Humanitarian Blood Donation, Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology and An Phuoc Prison has just organized the second voluntary blood donation program of 2012.

The program absorbed the participation of 201 officials and soldiers of An Phuoc Prison and 15 youngsters from the Youth Unions of An Thai, An Binh, An Long, Phuoc Sang, Tan Hiep and Tan Long with 216 units of blood given.

Since early this year, the district’s Steering Board for Humanitarian Blood Donation has organized two voluntary donation stages with 466 units of blood collected.
