Additional 24 units, individuals provide relief aid to flood-hit people in central region

* Ha Tinh Association of Fellow Countrymen in Binh Duong mobilizes 81 tons of rice to support flood victims

 Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on Oct.26, received VND355mln and nearly 4000 gifts from 24 units and individuals as relief aid to people in the flood-stricken central provinces. As of late Oct.26, provincial FFC received more than VND3.7bln in cash and gifts from 163 units as relief aid to flood-hit people in the central region.

 A delegation of provincial Relief Committee and Red Cross Society will further visit and provide relief aid to people in the flood-stricken central provinces this morning, Oct.27. This week, a delegation of Binh Duong University will also visit and provide relief aid to flood victims in the central region.

 *The Ha Tinh Association of Fellow Countrymen in Binh Duong province mobilized businesses and individuals to contribute 81 tons of rice in relief aid to flood victims in the central region, including Phu Loi Oil and Petrol Co. with 40 tons of rice, Kim Sang Co. with 12 tons…A 6-member delegation of the association was also set up to bring the amount of rice supported to people in the flood-stricken central region.

 * Cuong Phat Porcelain Co.Ltd. mobilized its staff to contribute VND25mln to support flood-affected people in the central region. Of the total figure, VND20mln was contributed by company directorate and VND5mln came from company staff. The above money was sent to provincial Red Cross Society.
