Morning 24th Feb (the 6th lunar day), we were at provincial Integrated Political Administrative Center to record the first working day in the new year. Since early morning, there were quite a lot people coming to the Administrative Center. The working atmosphere here was very active right from the first day of the new year.
Exciting first day at work
Around 10 am, more and more people came for their businesses. Most people concentrated at section B of the Open Administrative Center to complete procedures for renewal of driving licenses and some other administrative procedures. The working atmosphere here was seriously, promptly, and friendly. People were also orderly, seriously, and correctly.
Agencies assigned sufficient officials to handle people’s administrative procedures. Ms. Nguyen Thao Nguyen living at Binh Chuan ward, Thuan An town said, before Tet, she did not have time to renew her driving license. To avoid overdue, she came to fulfill the procedure.
"At first, I worried that there would be fewer officials to handle my files, because of after the New Year holiday. But when I came here, officials receives and resolved quickly my files. I felt very satisfied when finishing my business smoothly at the beginning of new year. Hopefully, works would run smoothly all year”, said Ms. Nguyen.
Coming for driving license renewal, Mr. Bui Van Thuan living at Hoa Phu ward, TDM City said: “I found, officials here instructed carefully and wholeheartedly necessary procedures with a gracious and friendly attitude. I was pleased with officials’ attitude here”.
After New Year holidays with family, civil servants went back to work with high spirit and determination. Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Deputy Director Pham Van Bong said: “During New Year holidays, civil servants fulfilled seriously their assigned duties to ensure security, fire prevention. Some units, such as: Animal Health Bureau, Plant Protection Bureau, Quality Management Bureau of agriculture, forestry, fisheries and seafood, assigned officials to be on duty throughout in order to ensure epidemic safety, disaster prevention, and food hygiene for people to have a complete Tet. Right from first day back to work, all officials presented and immediately started work”.
Localities work harmoniously
Morning 24th Feb, in exciting atmosphere, all sectors of TDM City went back to work. At civil departments, officials with friendly smiles welcomed people coming for administrative procedures. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay living at Phu Loi ward said: “I submitted files of housing construction permission. Within a short time, my file was completed and received”.
Also on the same day, TDM City Party Standing Committee held a meeting to report the situation before, during and after Tet holidays. The meeting occurred in a warm atmosphere of the spring with high determination from officials to fulfill and surpass targets in 2015.
At 7 am on 24th Feb, People's Council, People’s Committee of Tan Uyen town, North Tan Uyen district carried out flag salute ceremony and meeting to review situation before, during and after Tet holidays. Heads of agencies, units extended greetings to officials and strived for new successes. Ms. Ngo Thi Phuong Mai, official of Tan Uyen town Youth Union, said: “After the happy first meeting, we excitedly started to work".
In Di An town, governmental offices were also in tune with the working pace in the new year. Agencies, units in the town seriously received and handled people’s administrative procedures. According to surveys conducted by municipal People’s Committee before New Year holidays, 96% respondents was pleased with attitudes and results of civil servants at local governmental offices. To promote this success, municipal People’s Committee increased officials’ awareness of working spirit, attitude after Tet, especially on first day of the New Year.
