Provincial Youth Union and its affiliates have paid more attention to young workers on the final days of the year. This has helped them feel highly enthusiastic after one year of working.

A happy and well-off Tet

Unlike the previous years, young workers in province-based industrial parks and lodging facilities are animatedly preparing for a warm Tet of this year. They together go to the market for shopping, making the atmosphere of the Tet holiday come earlier. 

Presenting gifts to young workers is a regular activity of the local authorities at all levels

Pham Hong Thang, Vice-secretary of provincial Youth Union said that Binh Duong is a good land attracting birds, so there is a large number of immigrant laborers. They have contributed to promoting the local socio-economic development. On the occasion of the annual Tet holiday, provincial Youth Union always pays attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of immigrant laborers.

It is known that provincial Youth Union has set up a plan welcoming the lunar New Year 2013 for young workers who can not afford to return home for Tet. Accordingly, they will enjoy a small party welcoming the lunar New Year’s Eve and have a chance to take part in such folk games as tug-of-war, pot breaking…Many film shows will be also organized for young workers on the first, second and third of the lunar New Year.

Taking care of young workers on occasion of Tet

It is expected that provincial Youth Union will organize a lot of substantial activities to bring all young workers across the province a warm and well-off Tet.

Particularly, provincial Youth Union will pay working visits to 10 enterprises with Youth Union and other mass organizations on the occasion of the lunar Tet holiday 2013; visit and present gifts to 10 outstanding sub-unions for young workers; organize a program named “Xuan xa que” (Spring for those who live far away from home) and a meeting with provincial leaders; provide financial support for alien young workers with difficulties.

Provincial Youth Union will also hold a program for those who are in charge of uniting and gathering youths; launch a program “Toi yeu Binh Duong” (I love Binh Duong) with the theme of “Xuan tinh nguyen” (Voluntary spring); offer 300 free coach tickets for young workers with difficulties to return home for Tet; kick off a program named “Binh Duong gan ket yeu thuong” (Binh Duong connecting love) for young workers and especially organize a collective wedding ceremony for young workers with difficulties on the occasion of the upcoming Tet holiday.

Such these apart, provincial Youth Union will coordinate with provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize joyful market-days, mobile sales trips “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural regions” and mobilize supermarkets to provide young workers with goods offered special discounts; team up with relevant agencies to organize many cultural-sports activities for young workers; mobilize enterprises to offer young workers, pupils, students with difficulties free entrance tickets to Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien Tourist Complex, Suoi Tien Amusement Park…
