Art performances to celebrate International Children’s Day

Binh Duong province gets animated with many art performances to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1).

Starting activities to celebrate the International Children’s Day this year was the district/town-level drawing contests for the local children held in late May.

The contents of pictures at the contests focused on the beauty of homeland-family-school and Binh Duong new city, peaceful dreams, friendly relationship among the nations…Those who won high prizes at the district/town-drawing contests will be sorted out for provincial-level drawing contest on June 11 ahead.

Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, deputy director of provincial Cultural House for Children said: “Provincial Cultural House for Children has begun art performances for the offspring of civil servants at State agencies from May 28”.

Provincial Cultural House for Children also held a “joyful Sunday” program on the evening of May 28. Coming the 90-minute program, the local children had the chance to enjoy an art performance with many special singing and dancing items.

At 19pm of June 2, a puppetry show named “Nang tien ca” (Fish fairy) will be performed by artists from the Nu Cuoi theater at provincial Cultural House for Children, which expects to bring interesting things the local children.

Also in celebration of International Children’s Day, Thuan An-based Fahasha book supermarket will donate hundreds of gifts to the local children at 16pm of June 1.

With the above substantial and attractive activities, it is hoped that the local children will enjoy themselves with many likable gifts on the occasion of International Children’s Day (June 1).
