Bau Bang absorbs 259 investment projects
The People’s Committee of Bau Bang district said that the whole district last year attracted 23 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND141.3bln and 6 foreign direct investment projects with a total registered capital of US$19.7mln.
So far, the district has lured 259 investment projects with a total registered capital of VND1.475,7trillion and US$225.9mln. The figure is of great significance for Bau Bang district that was set up on April 1, 2014.
The district’s total production value in 2014 reached VND11.854trillion, up 14.24% compared to 2013. Till now, the district has basically become an industrial locality with the proportion of industrial sector accounting for 54.5% of the local economic structure. The district’s industrial production value last year obtained VND6.447trillion. The average income per capita herein was VND33.6mln.
