With the spirit of “Solidarity-flexibility-creation, joining hands for the community’s health”, Bau Bang district’s Young Physicians ‘Club has actively contributed young strength to public healthcare.
Established in 2014, Bau Bang district’s Young Physicians ‘Club has so far had a total of 52 members. The club has regularly worked with relevant units to realize scientific research and get involved in social activities towards the community.
The club organized many effective programs for the sake of the community over the past time. Since early this year, the club has coordinated with Dau Tieng district’s Young Physicians ‘Club and other units to respond to the festival of “Young physicians following Uncle Ho’s teachings, volunteering for the community’s health” 2020 by providing free medical check-ups , medicine and gifts for needy people in Bau Bang district’s Long Nguyen commune; giving free health consultancy, medicine for young workers with difficult circumstances in the “market-day with zero dong” program organized by provincial Youth Union. Under the “July of gratitude” program of provincial Youth Union, the club also provided free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for 6 heroic Vietnamese mothers in TDM city.
In 2020, with the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, members of the club continued expressing their young strength when voluntarily joining in the staff working in isolation areas; worked with the district’s Health Center to spay Chloramin B at 48 schools in the district, actively support propaganda against Covid-19 pandemic…
The club and the Youth Union of the district’s Health Center also provided medical check-ups and gifts for 6 heroic Vietnamese mothers in Phu Giao. Especially, the club offered medical equipment, necessities, including 100 boxes of medical mask, 200 medical suits, 40 hand sanitize bottles…to Phu Quy island district in the central province of Binh Thuan. Young physicians of Bau Bang and Dau Tieng districts also jointly provided free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 100 households with difficult circumstances while collecting trash on Phu Quy island…
In addition, the club teamed up with units, organizations, companies to visit, present gifts to flood-hit people in Thua Thien-Hue province; guided first-aid skills for youth volunteer squads supporting people at night…
Doctor Nguyen Dinh Thuong, Head of Bau Bang district’s Young Physicians ‘Club said that the success of the club’s programs came from the great efforts by the Directorate of the district’s Health Center, units, and donors. Especially, members of the club tried their best to take part in the trips to remote islands and border areas to offer help to those who have difficult circumstances…
Although still facing difficulties, it is hoped that the club will further uphold its achievements done over the past time, always accompanying public healthcare activities. From 2014 to 2017, the club was awarded the certificates of merit of provincial Youth Union. The club was also presented the certificate of merit of the Youth Union Central Committee for its excellent performance in the “Pink vacation” campaign in 2019…It was among outstanding clubs, groups honored by provincial Youth Federation…
