Early April 12, Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary (April 1, 2014 - April 1, 2024).

The event was attended by former Politburo member, former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; members of provincial Party Standing Committee; former provincial leaders; heroes of the people's armed forces...

After 10 years of establishment, the Party Committee, government and people of Bau Bang district have united and strived to promote all potential and advantages, achieving important achievements in all fields. Noticeably, the district's industrial production value has reached the average growth of 18.84% per year. The district’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services revenue has grown by 23.88% per year. The local people's material and spiritual lives have been improved with national defense and security maintained... Currently, Bau Bang district is one of the province’s northern industrial and urban centers, greatly contributing to the overall development of the province.

Addressing the event, Mr.Minh asked for Bau Bang district to soon complete the goal of upgrading urban areas before 2030, becoming a civilized and prosperous land, the district needs to further strive and mobilize all resources to develop Bau Bang into an ideal destination for investors. Besides, the district needs to focus on innovation, building a new-style industrial ecosystem towards a green economy and digital economy, building digital government, digital citizens and digital society; proactively seize development opportunities and build Bau Bang district into a more and more beautiful, prosperous, civilized and modern locality, making locals ‘lives more prosperous and happier...

At the ceremony, provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 10 groups and 22 individuals. Bau Bang district also awarded the certificates of merit to 95 collectives and 411 individuals with outstanding achievements over the past 10 years. On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society awarded scholarships worth VND 3 million to 50 students. The district also gave each student a gift worth VND 300,000.
