On July 30th, the 8th session of provincial People’s Council (PPC) term VIII conducted confidence vote for incumbents assigned by PPC. The vote happened objectively, impartially and met voters.  Delegates cast confidence votes for PPC incumbentsObjective and impartialThe atmosphere of the confidence vote on July 30th was seriously. Most of participants of the 8th session considered the confidence vote as an important guideline of the Party, State and thought that the vote had been prepared carefully, carried out seriously and abided by rules and procedures.Party Committee Permanent Deputy Secretary cum PPC Chairman Mr. Vu Minh Sang contended, during this session, PPC implemented confidence vote for incumbents assigned by PPC. This was the first time that PPC exercised supervisory power regarding to human management, and evaluated confidence of key leaders on behalf of people and voters. “On basis of researching, adequate information collecting, procedures complying, before the session, delegate groups of PPC had discussed, evaluated dignity, lifestyle, and accomplishment of duties of 14 PPC incumbents”.“At the session, delegates casted directly confidence votes for each incumbent. The results helped incumbents to learn about their confidence levels to train more their qualities, competences to improve working effectiveness. The vote was evaluated carefully, objectively, impartially and precisely by delegates”, said Mr. Sang.Meeting people’s expectationProvincial Retiree Club Deputy Head Mr. Huynh Tac said: “I think that the confidence vote for 14 incumbents at this session was good, satisfied people’s expectations. The vote also heightened incumbents’ responsibility that is to recognize their defects in working and then make good shortcomings, keep cultivating dignity, competence as well as prove their leading role, serve better people’s interests”.Former PPC Chairman Mr. Phan Van Hieu said, the confidence vote was a measure of people’s confidence in leaders.
