Through the surveys, it is found that there is cooperation between the investors, residents, and local authorities in implementing road connections, constructing fire protection systems, electrical systems, drainage systems, and connecting to the clean water system. When the local authorities have a policy to renovate the areas and self-built housing points in the area, the residents with land in these areas agree to participate and voluntarily contribute funds to build infrastructure. All the locals are very happy and express their desire for the local authorities and related units to accelerate the progress of implementing the projects, completing the infrastructure as soon as possible to ensure a stable life for the locals.”
Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thoi Hoa Ward, said that there are currently 5 self-built residential areas in the ward, of which 4 areas have been approved for renovation and 1 local area is still undergoing promotion and mobilization of investors and residents to contribute funds to overcome issues, improve infrastructure, and carry out renovation. According to the People's Committee of My Phuoc Ward, there are 5 self-built residential areas in the ward that have been approved by the city's People's Committee for remediation and renovation. All areas and points have concrete roads from 3 - 5m, however, there is no drainage system, no green trees, using a general electricity meter, using a certificate of common land use.
