Binh Duong adjusts land use planning towards harmoniousness

Morning Apr 1, PPC convened its 95^th regular session discussing Adjustment of land use planning till 2020 and deploying 5-year land use plan (2015-2020). PPC’s Chairman Tran Thanh Liem presided over the meeting.

Accordingly, by 2020, Binh Duong would complete the basic norms of urban, agricultural, non-agricultural land ... of an urban area directly under the central government. At the meeting, many feedbacks and opinions were collected to help Natural resources – Environment sector and related units to get a more scientific and accurate view in the land use planning for the coming period.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Liem emphasized, land use planning must be harmonized with urban development, agricultural land development for an in-place food source and proactive responses to climate changes..., ensure enough land to develop industrial parks, urban areas, new rural construction… were the mission of Binh Duong province in the 2015-2020.
