Binh Duong eager to welcome election day

There is still one day to elections of the 13th NA and provincial People’s Council at all levels (2011-2016 term). This will be a very important political event for the country. Mixing with the country’s lively ambience, a series of flags, posters, panels, slogans and flowers across local streets are flying away to welcome the event.

At Thu Dau Mot town, in the afternoon of May 20, the town electoral units completed their final works of listing voters and candidates’ names as well as decorating polls. Ta Ngoc Trung, head of the town home affairs department, said to support promulgations before, during and after the election day, the town hung numerous banners, posters and flags across main routes.  Voter Nguyen Minh Hoang in Phu My ward, said “He’s joined in many elections and the elections in this time show a well preparation”.

Meanwhile, Thuan An town has had numerous voters who are laborers, so organization of election day is prepared well. Nguyen Ngoc Quang, vice secretary of the town party committee cum chairman of the town Election Committee, said together with promulgations of the election day, professional training classes for electoral staff were held well. All preparations for the election day have been so far finalized.

Like other localities, Di An town’s people are eager to welcome the election day. Bui Thi Bach Tuyet, vice chairwoman of the town Election Committee, said the town has so far completed all preparations. Besides, Di An checked works of election across its localities.

Throughout the polls in Ben Cat district, local residents have learnt about candidates’ biographies and action plans. Nguyen Thanh Nghia, a voter in An Loi hamlet of Hoa Loi commune, said “I will choose candidates with high knowledge to take charge of serving people”. To Van Sang, member of the district electoral steering board, said “At this time, the district has kept boosting promulgations of Election Law through mass media, leaflets, radio stations… to raise local residents’ responsibility to the country’s important event”.

Besides, the locality trained skills of election for members of electoral committees at all levels as well as issued 375 ballot boxes and ballot papers, office supplies as well as installed 9 computers and 5 telephone sets for communes and townships to ensure the election work”. At Ben Cat district, the election work has been completed so far. The entire district has had 76,573 voters, 15,410 of whom are workers. The local administration completed issuance of 78,000 ballot papers of the provincial People’s Council election and 78,964 ballot papers of the district People’s Council election and 118,100 ballot papers of communal People’s Council election.

At Tan Uyen district, the district Radio Station invested new equipments for Tan Lap, Tan Binh, Thuong Tan and Thanh Hoi communes to ensure the election work. More especially, the district Election Committee issued 56,000 leaflets and 6,000 promulgation documents for laborers.

Meanwhile, Phu Giao entire district has set up and announced 11 election committees with the participation of 121 members. Promulgations of election work have constantly implemented in areas crowded with ethnic people.

To date, the provincial Military Headquarters has finalized preparations for the coming elections. Across the polls under the armed force units, lively ambience of elections has overwhelmed everywhere. Division No.7 under the election team No.11 of Phu Loi ward targets to reach 100% of valid ballot papers.
