Binh Duong industrial parks reach 65% of occupancy rate

It is the latest PPC’s announcement of industrial development activities in general and the operations of industrial parks in the province by the end of Jun 15^th 2016. Currently, the province has 28 industrial parks in operation with 9,412ha, occupancy rate reached 65%. In addition, Binh Duong also has 8 industrial clusters with an area of ​​600ha, occupancy rate reached 45%. In the first 6 months, industrial parks invested in building infrastructure with a total capital of over VND750 billion, leased lands, plants with an area of ​​about 225ha, foreign investment attraction reached $949 million, accounting for 86% of the whole province.

Notably, in the first 6 months, Binh Duong implemented the IP planning adjustment according to Dispatch No. 173 / TTg-KTN dated Jan 28^th 2016 of the Prime Minister. Accordingly, by 2020, Binh Duong will have a total of 33 industrial parks with a total area of ​​14,790ha.
