Binh Duong province to invest into 285 routes of telecommunication cables

Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has just issued the plan to lower the underground and compact the telecommunication cable network in the province in 2021-2025. Accordingly, the issued plan aims to continually develop and upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure network in the direction of modernity and sustainability to ensure beauty and safety and to improve service quality and serviceability of telecommunications and cable television enterprises while contributing to the promotion of socio-economic development and urban civilization. At the same time, favorable conditions are created for telecommunication businesses to actively plan and concentrate resources and investment funds.

It is expected that Binh Duong will invest into 285 underground lines of telecommunications cables in 2021-2025. Telecommunication businesses are assigned to invest in underground infrastructure and act as the focal point for managing telecommunication cable networks by geographical areas or regions including Vietnam Technology and Communication Joint Stock Company (VNTT), Binh Duong Telecommunications (VNPT Binh Duong), Viettel Binh Duong, and FPT Binh Duong. An annual review and assessment will be made in case the enterprise in charge of the area fails to complete the task without a valid reason will, under consideration, be transferred to another enterprise.
