Binh Duong records 90 more Covid-19 cases

*Ministry of Health supports 5,000 Realtime RT-PCR test kits for province

On the afternoon of July 1, Binh Duong province recorded 42 more Covid-19 cases in the community (that has not been announced by the Ministry of Health yet), bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases detected in the day to 90. Among the 42 new cases on the afternoon of July 1, there were 36 in isolation areas; 3 cases detected when they were under screening; 1 case detected at a detention center; 2 cases detected in the community.

Particularly, there were 15 cases at Wanek 2 Industrial Wood Co., Ltd.; 13 cases at House Wares Company; 3 cases at Waste Treatment Branch; 7 cases at the lodging facility No. 57, street 21, Nhi Dong 1 quarter, Di An ward, Di An city; 1 case at Bo La Detention Center  in Phu Giao district;  3 cases at An Phu General Hospital, Thuan An city’s Health Center and the Army Corps 4 Hospital through medical declaration. Thus, since the 4th wave of Covid-19 pandemic, Binh Duong province has recorded 497 cases of Covid-19 in the community.

*In another context, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long has just signed the Decision No. 3252/QD-BYT on the allocation of test kits for SARS-CoV-2 virus by Realtime RT-PCR method to support Covid-19 prevention and control. Accordingly, the Ministry of Health allocated provincial Department of Health with 5,000 test kits produced by Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company from the number of test kits purchased by the National Children's Hospital for Covid-19 prevention and control. The company has also supported the transportation of the test kits from their storage warehouse to the place of use of receiving units as prescribed…

Provincial Department of Health has urgently received medical supplies while preserving, managing and use them effectively for Covid-19 prevention and control in accordance with its entrusted functions and tasks.
