Planning and building modern industrial park (Ip) infrastructure towards building specialized IPs and the new generation ones to create development forces has helped Binh Duong attract investment very effectively. To adapt to the development of technology 4.0 and the increasing demands of large enterprises and corporations on infrastructure, the province has shifted to develop the local IPs in a green, smart direction, creating new attraction, especially planning to build specialized Ips such as mechanical engineering, wood, science and technology, information technology, ecology... towards green, smart production.
Under the province’s draft master plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Binh Duong has aimed at socio-economic development based on 3 growth pillars, including industry; service; smart, ecological urban area. Among them, there is a "3 in 1" industrial park model, combining IPs, urban areas, and service areas with a synchronous and modern system of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure. Attracting investment in industrial parks will be more selective in a specialized, ecological and smart direction to create new attraction and breakthroughs.
Building specialized Ips will create concentrated industrial production areas, positively impacting the development of material areas, promoting the development of various types of industrial services, enhancing the value of goods and the aggregate efficiency of manufacturing industries. New generation IPs under the development plan will be built under the industrial ecosystem model with a foundation of innovation, science and technology, combined with transport infrastructure connecting the region, training high-quality humam resources, full health services, education and green infrastructure together with a good living and working environment.
Along with building new generation IPs, implementing industrial restructuring within the province and building new industrial - urban - service models associated with regional planning, Binh Duong determines to continue upgrading the local industrial development model, aiming at gradually becoming less labor-intensive and saving land resources. Transforming the industrial - urban - service development model in a smart and sustainable direction, the province will upgrade existing IPs to become the smart ones, capable of providing a 4.0 technology platform, attracting industries with high added value towards the goal of building Binh Duong into a smart city, a modern industrial center.
