On the morning of December 8, the Central Youth Union and Suntory Pepsico Vietnam Beverage Company held the launch of "Bringing Tet home" program in 2022.
This was a program to support tickets of flights, trains and buses to bring home poor Covid-affected students and young workers of Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai to celebrate Tet with their family. Compared to 2021, this year's program increased the number of support tickets from 3,000 tickets to 3,290 tickets, including an additional mean of transportation (train). The program organizers cooperated with Viet Nam Airlines to organize three flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Vinh and Da Nang, and coordinated with Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company to organize 55 trains to the central and northern provinces. This year's program will give away 540 round-trip air tickets, 2,475 round-trip bus tickets, 275 round-trip train tickets, and also gifts to young people returning home.
In addition to giving 3,290 tickets to students and young workers, the organizers also raised a fund named "Bringing Tet home", held a photo contest "Tet reunion" and "Festival bringing Tet home".
