Bui Le Huong trusted to be elected as Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Retiree Club

In the morning of March 9, Binh Duong provincial Retiree Club held the 11th Congress of 2021-2026 tenure. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation.

In the past term, the Board of Trustees of the provincial Retiree Club has shown dynamism and flexibility in leadership and administration. Most of the members have made every effort in implementing the resolutions and tasks. Organizational consolidation was carried out in a timely manner. Solidarity and close attachment in the whole club has been emphasized as clearly shown in political activities and news, literary, physical and aesthetic activities, and life care activities for members.

In the first working session taking place in the afternoon of March 8, the Congress focused on implementing such contents as electing the presidency, the secretariat, the congress's eligibility verification committee, and approving the rules and regulations of the General Meeting and the working program of the General Meeting. The General Meeting also elected a Board of Trustees including the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and 3 members of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Bui Le Huong was trusted and reelected as Chairman of Binh Duong Retiree Club.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the outstanding results of the provincial Retiree Club in the last term. He hoped that in the next term, the club should continue to research and organize many rich, diverse, attractive and practical activities so that the club can become a common place for retired officials and Party members in the province. The club needs to coordinate with departments, agencies and localities to promote the role and experience of retired staff in supervision and social criticism for business development programs and projects as well as important socio-economic of the province. Each member should promote his or her spirit, responsibility, work experience and reputation to actively mobilize family, relatives and people in the locality where they live to strictly observe the guidelines of the Party and the laws of the State, leading role models in local emulation movements.

At the Congress, a number of participants also presented presentations on matters of organizing activities and mobilizing members to participate, taking care of members' lives, mobilizing contributions to socialization, and creating a playground for members.

The Congress also unanimously approved the Resolution of the 11th Congress of Binh Duong Retiree Club delegates for 2021-2026 tenure.
