43 gratitude houses worth VND3.668bil granted to privileged families, reaching 134.4% of yearly plan and 87 other homes under repair with the total cost of VND2.228bil, winning 82.9% of yearly plan were result of many contributions in the past year. This good deed contributed to ease local revolutionary contributors’ pain and loss.

  The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung hands a decision of granting gratitude house over privileged family in Suoi Tre hamlet, Long Nguyen commune, Bau Bang district.

 

On the occasion of following functional agencies to pay gift visits to privileged families, we realized frank affection of revolutionary contributors for the Party and local authorities.  Privilege people’s happiness was very huge when receiving care and assistance from local authorities. Many of them wept tears of joy when receiving gratitude houses from functional agencies.

 

The first house was granted to Le Minh Bau born in 1937, a war invalid in hamlet 2, Tan My commune, North Tan Uyen district. The 78sqm gratitude house was worth of VND85mil. The second one was donated to Nguyen Van Tien, the child of martyr in hamlet 1 at the same commune. The 85sqm house was worth of VND180mil, VND120mil of which was funded by the family.

 

Besides, the provincial leaders granted home interior appliances namely television set, worship cabinet, furniture, mattress to heroic mother Le Thi Dieu in Vuon Vu hamlet, Tan My commune.

 

Socialization of taking care of revolutionary contributors has been spread businesses and economic units in the province. Participating in this good deed includes Sabeco Mien Dong Joint Stock Company which supported VND100mil to build 2 gratitude houses to 2 Phu Giao district-based privileged households including Pham Ngoc Loi in An Long hamlet and Le Thi Binh in An Linh commune. “Sabeco’s deed for community is to pay tribute to revolutionary contributors”, Sabeco Mien Dong JSC’s director Nguyen Van Loc said.

 

Binh Duong provincial administration will grant 61 gratitude houses and repair 272 other ones for local revolutionary contributors, according to the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

 

With the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, Binh Duong’s movement of granting gratitude houses has been socialized, contributing to mobilize the whole of the society’s strength to well take care of war invalids and martyrs’ relatives and revolutionary contributors’ life.
