Buses braced up to use clean fuel

Tran Ba Luan, Director of provincial Department of Transportation said that the province has advocated the local development of clean fuel-using bus system, minimizing environmental pollution.
According to Nguyen Van Hung, CEO of Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC), his unit will continue opening additional hi-quality bus routes powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) in order to change people’s habit of using means of transport in the coming time.
Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation has also just handed over six CNG buses to Becamex Tokyu Bus Co.Ltd (photo). Thus, Becamex Tokyu Bus Co.Ltd has so far possessed 15 CNG buses.
