Canada’s Concordia University eyes cooperation on developing human resources in Binh Duong

Early February 27, Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee received a delegation of Canada’s Concordia University, led by Graham Carr, Chairman cum Principal of the university. Leaders of departments, agencies and universities in the province were also present at the reception.

At the reception, Mr. Dung expressed his pleasure and respect to welcome the delegation of the university in the top 20 universities in Canada. He also informed the delegation of the local socio-economic achievements over the past time. He added that Binh Duong is on the way of development, so the demand for high-quality human resources is huge while wanting to expand cooperation among universities to train better human resources. He wanted that through this meeting, there will be many opportunities for cooperation in the field of high-quality human resource education. Binh Duong has always welcomed Concordia University as well as companies from Canada promoting investment and development in various fields in Binh Duong.

Mr. Graham Carr said that this was his first visit to Binh Duong, but he was very impressed with the local achievements done over the past time  as well as material facilities of Eastern International University. Through the field visit, the delegation realized that there are many opportunities for cooperation and development, especially the student exchange program between the universities of the two sides, creating conditions for small and medium-sized startup students to get have the opportunity for real experience …
