Central Committee of Propaganda and Education meets up in training for education of political ideology in 2023

On the afternoon August 9, Central Committee of Propaganda and Education organized agenda meeting and training on political ideology in the grassroots in 2023. The conference was online to connect 63 points of provincial and city Party Committees under the central government. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of CPV Central Committee cum Head of Central Committee of Propaganda and Education chaired the conference. At the connection point of Binh Duong, Le Thi Mong Diem, Deputy Head of local Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education chaired the conference.

Addressing the opening of the conference, Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that with political ideological education, the whole CPV is united in the goals, ideals, program, and guidelines for building a transparent political system. With the strong development trend of science and technology, especially achievements in the field of information and communication technology, there has been an urgent requirement to promote innovation in both content and form of training. Political ideological education in a proactive and timely manner, combining traditional and modern education, on the basis of promoting the application of information technology platforms in order to firmly protect the ideological foundation of the CPV in the new situation.

At the conference, the Central Committee of Propaganda and Education inaugurated a pilot system for disseminating, fostering and updating political knowledge and theories for officials and CPV members on the Internet. The pilot system is expected to contribute to promoting and making drastic changes in the quality of propaganda and education, and improving the level of political ideology for cadres and party members in the political system.

The delegates also discussed, contributed ideas, shared advantages and disadvantages and proposed solutions to effectively implement political ideological education in the coming time.

Within the framework of the conference program, the delegates will receive professional training in 2 topics of some theoretical issues about socialism and the pathway to socialism and overview of the political system in Vietnam. The conference runs until August 10.
