Chinese community representatives extend First Full-moon greetings to provincial leadership

On occasion of First Full-moon– Thien Hau Thanh Mau Festival and Lunar New Year 2016, morning Feb 19, Chinese community representatives in TDM City extended their greetings to provincial leadership at provincial Administrative Center. Tran Van Nam, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Canh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Van Nhi, Chairman of provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of departments and agencies held the reception.

At the reception, TDM City Chinese community representatives sent best wishes to leaders of provincial Party, People's Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and departments, agencies; and informed that Chinese community in TDM City had about 1,300 households. In recent years, the Chinese community in TDM City has been complying well with the Party's guidelines, the State’s laws, taken part in social works and activities. To promote the tradition of solidarity, the Chinese community has supported Fund for the poor, Fund for Victims of Agent Orange, Relief Fund for Victims of Natural Disasters; supporting orphans, lonely elderly, people with disabilities; Funds for Study Promotion…

On behalf of provincial leadership, Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, acknowledged and praised the contributions of the Chinese community to the construction and development of Binh Duong province in recent years.

Mr. Liem hoped that in the future, the Chinese community would continue to preserve and uphold cultural characters and good traditions; organize safe, jubilant, and healthy lunar January’s Full-moon Festival; engage actively in charitable works contributing to the implementation of social welfare policies. Provincial leaders always create favorable conditions for the Chinese community to participate in economic development and make contributions to building progressive, prosperous and civilized province.
